Today I went looking for condos deals for one of my out-of-town clients. I stopped in at the newly released Village at Idlewild Park across from the Truckee River, and, wow… this is my new favorite condo project near downtown. These low-rise condos are well appointed (stainless steel appliances, Alder cabinets, slab granite and lodge-style clubhouse, pool and fitness area). They are well-located and priced right.
Studios start at $170K (and are far better located, appointed and priced than the Sierra Towers conversion, though the views aren’t as dramatic). One bedrooms start at $194K, and two bedrooms go from $239-$281K. This is phase II pricing, and phase III should be released in a matter of weeks.
If I hadn’t gotten into a Phase I Montage unit, I would be buying one of these. If you want to purchase, they have a few units available for reservation now.
