Since the National Association of Realtors is spending, probably, millions on an advertising campaign illustrating why now is a great time to buy or sell, I thought I’d chime in with my own little push on why now is a great time to flip a house. Or, ideally, a bunch of houses.
And please call me to help you with this because, hey, I’m on your team. (Well, okay, maybe not, because, after all… am I not a member of the realtor-industrial-complex as some of my contributors like to call it?) Happy Thanksgiving!

With all the unsold inventory houses the builders are holding now, I am sure we could buy up a whole street of houses to flip. We could buy 10 houses in a row!
Financing is not a problem either. We could go to a voodoo loan witchdoctor and get a stated income, no doc, interest only, negative am, holiday special 0.9% intro rate for the first 3 months. We could borrow $4,000,000 and I’m sure our monthly payment would be less than $3,000 a month.
True, that $3,000 payment would only last for 3 months, but by then we will have flipped off all 10 of our houses to all the rich Bay Area people moving here, and the Wal-Mart employees coming here to work at the distribution center!
