Technical Difficulties

Downtown_reno_160 Yeah, so… on the same day that Sellsius bestows a major blogger honor on our humble, little site, bringing tons of new traffic, we just happen to change our domain mapping sitewide. Talk about bad timing. This means we may have broken links, and due to some inexplicable Typepad bug, all of Guy’s, Jaded’s and everyone else’s posts have my name on them (no, I was not congratulating myself on the front page in the third person… geez, that’d be freaky). Anyway, my apologies. We’ll get it all fixed just as soon as possible.

In the meantime, if you’ve linked to our site with a permalink, please be aware that you will need to change the link as follows within 30 days to avoid breakage.  As an example:

From /2007/10/september-media.html
To /2007/10/september-media.html

If you’ve added us to your blogroll [thank you], the new link would be simply:

    Hi Diane.

It seems you have several fresh new listings and links, three of which are in Montreux. I am curious. Who buys a Montreux home built in 2006, and sells it a year later? Are Whispering Woods and Enchanted Forest new homes which are owned by the builder? Or, perhaps they are high end flips? I find very interesting, the significant number of year or so old homes making their way onto the mls. I smell fear in the air.

BB, can’t answer the first question about who sells a year later (ask Guy) but yes, Woods & Forest are new homes owned by the builder. There are a lot of custom homes out there started many months ago, so yes, you will see some new ones on the MLS.

Rudy, you are so right, we are planning the switch as I type, but we’re moving to a new design template which is the holdup (must look fabulous, be useful, cutting-edge… all that). The move itself to WordPress I understand is relatively easy.

    Diane,
Congrats on being one of the Top 12 Women RE Bloggers. I’m honored to be associated with you!

I lived in Auburn CA/Donner’s Pass for about a year “in my youth”…never made it to Reno but I have been to Truckee! 😉

I’m a fellow Typepad user. If you move to WordPress…I’d love to hear your thoughts.

    All my best!

    For blogger Rhonda…

“…never made it to Reno but I have been to Truckee! 🙂

Your blog comment flashed song lyrics into my mind, Elvis on stage in Nevada, at what was then the International Hotel, singing
“Oh I’ve Never Been to Spain,
But I’ve been to Las Vegas….”

    [Help, Help me Ronda,
–I am buried in documents today, breathing smoke, and losing my serious focus…coffee is needed, I think].

    Tom
