JoAnn, something doesn’t jive with these numbers.
In Guys’ post for monthly sales, we had 332 sales at a median of 240K, or about 8 million in sales volume.
This chart says 174 million, which would put the median at around 526K.
Do you know how they are coming up with these numbers?

I have checked with the originator of this document and he goes through every recording in the County Recorder’s office. Out of all those recordings he pulls out deeds, trustee’s deeds, deeds of trust and documents that are recorded by title companies and insured. This monthly report is based upon insured documents. All corrective documents, re-recordings, accommodation recordings are discarded, because they are not insured recordings.
