Nevada Leads Nation with Underwater Homeowners

Forty-eight percent of Nevada homeowners with a mortgage owe more to the bank than their homes are worth, according to a report released today by First American CoreLogic.  Nevada leads the country with 48% of it’s mortgagors underwater; followed by California, Arizona and Florida, Georgia and Michigan.

Collectively these top six states account for nearly 60 percent of all homeowners who are underwater on their mortgages
