RealtyTrac has released its Q1 2011 U.S. Foreclosure Sales Report™, see Foreclosure Homes Account for 28 Percent of Q1 2011 Sales

Not surprisingly, Nevada continues to lead the nation in the highest percentage of foreclosure sales; with 53 percent of all residential sales in Nevada during the first quarter being foreclosures.

The good news: Nevada’s percentage of foreclosure sales is down from nearly 54 percent of all sales in the previous quarter and down from 59 percent of all sales in the first quarter of 2010.

Also, interesting to note, the average foreclosure sales price in Nevada during the first quarter was nearly 18 percent below the average sales price of homes not in foreclosure.
