Reno ranked 88th as most-searched real estate market

Realtor.com has released it latest monthly housing data for 146 markets nationwide. Reno, Nevada ranks 88th on the list as the most searched market in the U.S.

The Realtor.com report shows Reno’s median list price has increased 11.67 percent year-over-year, and is now $199,900. Additionally, Reno’s number of listings has decreased 29.87 percent year-over year. From the report:

The recovery that began in Florida more than a year ago has since spread to California, Arizona, Nevada and other parts of the West, with many of these markets registering dramatic declines in the number of properties for sale coupled with year-over-year list price increases of 10 percent of more.

    Good for Reno. They’ve had it rough over the last 4 years and even the casinos couldn’t help them get over. The biggest little city in the world needed some good news and maybe this is an indication that they’re in for a nice recovery.
