Northern Nevada regional median home prices – May 2019

I often get asked about the median home prices in areas other than Reno/Sparks, Nev. If you’re curious as to median home prices in some of the other areas of Northern Nevada, the table below shows May’s median home sales prices. [Note: The large percent change observed in some of the areas can be a result of very few monthly sales in those areas.]

If there is an area in Northern Nevada that I have not listed above, let me know and I’ll add it.

Also, I would like to know if you find this information useful. Should I provide this data monthly? Quarterly?

    What’s the forecast for the Fernley area? Are prices going to be leveling out or are they going to continue to climb?

    Hello Edith. Thank you for your question. Though no one can predict with certainty, looking at the recent trends in home prices may shed some light. The graph below [click to enlarge] shows Fernley’s median sales price over the past three years. As you can see, home prices do not appear to be leveling off yet.
