Double DiamondNew, master-planned community, very nice but on smaller lots than other developments. This is a great family area with pretty parks, new schools, protected marshlands and numerous walking paths. Very close to shopping. Damonte RanchA lot like Double Diamond only newer, located right next door, nestled at the bottom of the Virgina Foothills. Also close to shopping, convenient to everything in Reno, with lots of new development happening nearby. Hidden ValleyOn Reno’s east side tucked behind a hill. The people who live here love it and rarely move. There are many older, established homes, some of which back to a lovely little lake that offers water-skiing. Rosewood Lakes and Heron’s landing are two newer developments in this area, both very nice, with water frontage where you can enjoy watching migratory birds. More new homes are in the planning stages, making this an area worth watching. Virginia Foothills An older area on the Southeast side of the valley with a lot of new development coming. Close in you’ll find older, custom horse properties and newer executive homes. A little farther out, you’ll find manufactured housing on large lots. Upwards into the Virginia Highlands, you’ll find large custom homes, wild horses and a few spacious lots left. |
