Which zip codes saw the greatest price increase in 2013?

price increase by zip code - 2013Housing markets across the nation saw their respective home prices rise dramatically in 2013 — with some cities seeing the highest increases in 20 years.

The Reno-Sparks market was no exception. December’s median sales price was up 26 percent year-over-year. But not all areas experienced the same magnitude of increase. The table below shows Reno-Sparks’ increase in median sales price across zip codes. To ensure I had enough data with which to work, I compared 2013’s 4th quarter sales to 2012’s 4th-quarter sales. These are some great numbers for the year minus that last zip code. It’ll be interesting to see how 89511 fares in 2014 compared to the others.
