61% of Nevada mortgaged properties are underwater

Nevada leads the nation as the state with highest percentage of underwater properties, according the most recent CoreLogic report. See CoreLogic Reports Negative Equity Increase in Q4 2011

  • Nevada 61%
  • Arizona 48%
  • Florida 44%
  • Michigan 35%
  • Georgia 33%

The report says about 400,000 additional homes across the country fell into the “negative equity” category during the 4th quarter of 2011.
