Last night I attended EDAWN’s “New and Expanded Company Welcome Reception”. The event recognized 33 companies that have relocated to the Reno-Sparks area in the past year, as well as existing local companies that expanded their workforce in 2015. In total, these new or expanding companies will add over 3,000 new quality jobs to the region over the next few years (see EDAWN’s Press Release below).
The big announcement at last night’s event was eBay’s move to expand its data center operations to Northern Nevada on Super Loop Circle in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center.
