Home sales, on the other hand, declined 0.8% nationally during the same time [according to NAR’s Research and Statistics data].

In the first quarter of 2024, 876 SFR units sold with a median sales price of $550,000. In the first quarter of 2025, 990 SFR units sold with a median sales price of $570,000.

Home prices in the Reno Metro area appear to be tracking the national trend–up 3.6% compared to up 3.4% nationally.

Home sales in the Reno Metro area, however, are far outpacing the trend seen nationally–up 13.0% compared to a 0.8% decline in unit sales nationally.
