For February 2014, Total New MLS listings increased slightly; Non Conditioned Sales increased a bit; Short Sale and REO Sold transactions decreased slightly. Median Sales Price went from $222,000 in January to $237,000 in February. In Ticor’s chart attached, there was a slight increase in overall real estate transactions and a consistent decrease in refinance activity. New Home sales are relatively the same month over month. Builders are still being cautious, not overbuilding, and are acquiring land again. Recently many builders are showcasing some great new future developments. In February, cash sales comprised 41% of our market, upwards of 5% from last month.
