It appears the days of sugarcoating and spin are over. The CEO of DR Horton, the nation’s largest home builder, didn’t mince words at a recent shareholders meeting when discussing 2007’s outlook for his company. You’ve got to admire the guy’s candor. read

Seven years ago today, the NASDAQ closed at just over 5000.

Not that what happened with the NASDAQ has any relevance to the housing market, of course.
