Governor Jim Gibbons announced the launch of a website to
assist Nevada homeowners who may be facing foreclosure. The website, www.foreclosurehelp.nv.gov, is being
billed as a comprehensive resource designed to help  borrowers make informed
decisions about mortgage payments. "This website will serve as a one-stop
location online where consumers can obtain information regarding foreclosure,
including whom to call for specific help," said Governor Gibbons. "Those who
are at risk of foreclosure must act now." Courtesy of NVAR.

  1. Move to Reno?

Nice political posturing but i suspect that most mortgage service companies don’t have the power to alter the terms of the mortgage AND the mortgages have been securitized to the point that it would be hard to know who has the authority to change the terms.

Most people don’t even know that their mortgages are ARMs and are going to reset..
