Median sold price and units sold for September remained relatively stable compared to August’s numbers. The median sold price continues to fall, but not as dramatically as we saw last month.
The number of homes listed for sale in September fell 7% compared to August’s listings. This is a typical seasonal trend observed as sellers take their homes off the market for the holidays and slower home buying season.

“DERRICK said, in May 5th, 2008 at 12:29 am ok how is this then folks. If the median goes UNDER 240k I will never post again? However if it fails to do so all of you can bow down to the all knowing oracle from spanish springs, and say sorry Derrick we were wrong you were right.
Deal, or no deal?”
From the May Day “No Point in Posting” post from Diane. Enjoy the silence!

And now we are headed for the “slow” season…. I almost beleive 200K has a chance.
Would be nice if this was the “bottom”, but I have a bad feeling.
Someone mentioned a exodus of business from California, one can only think what this would do if some ended up here?
I am perplexed at the empty houses around here, and apartments giving some move-in incentives. Where did all the people go? Was there that much over-building?
And anyone got a clue what all the little flags on Vista are about near Wingfield Springs?
Hanging on tight for a very bumpy road….
