Washoe County Insured Recording Statistics – April 2011

Last month (March) we saw a big spike in the number of home resales, but for the month of April the number receded by about 10 percent.  In fact, all of the categories of insured recordings fell in April – refi’s down by 9.5 percent; resales by 9.5 percent; and new home sales dropped by almost a third.

New home sales in April represented 5.2 percent of total sales.
