   Interesting that most of the casinos in the wonderful night shot of the Reno Arch have closed since the photo was taken.

   C’mon Guy – who on this blog do you think is drinking the Kool Aid that we are a top 50 city in the US? Seriously?

   I think that picture of downtown must have been taken in about 1985. Look at the cars on the street.

   If this list has Oakland at #48, I fail to see why Reno can’t be ranked in at least the #44 spot. The thing that perplexes me is that Henderson, NV scored better than Reno at the 38th spot. I think it’s pretty clear that the people who wrote this article had their Kool Aid spiked with something pretty strong.

   How does this list mesh with the list, posted a couple of weeks ago, that has Reno as the 11th worst housing market in America and the 4th worst housing market for decline in value over the last year?

   These list things are about the most stupid damn thing going. One comes out every two weeks. I am waiting for the list of lists, which will tell us where Reno ranks on the list of the most recent 200 lists.
