Washoe County Insured Recording Statistics – August 2011

Washoe County insured recording statistics for August have been released by our friends at Ticor Title.

Resales hit 760 for the month – a huge number, especially for an August.  August’s 760 recordings represented a 6.9 percent increase over July and a whopping 19 percent increase year-over-year.

August re-fis, though down substantially year-over-year, saw a nice 25 percent increase over July’s number.

New home sales turned in a paltry 41 units sold in August – down from the 61 sales recorded in July.
