Here’s a nice release that came across my desk today. Three local home builders have teamed up to donate to the Boys & Girls Club for each public and realtor visit, reservation or new home sale through December 10th. See the details below…
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
RENO, Nev. (November 2, 2012) – Three local builders – Desert Wind Homes, Lennar Homes and Ryder Homes – have teamed up on a monthlong effort to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows. A monetary donation will be made each time someone visits or purchases a new home within select communities to help further the nonprofit’s mission to enhance the quality of life for children in the Truckee Meadows.
As part of the “Homes with Heart” Charity Home Tour between November 10 and December 10, the three local home builders will donate $1 per visitor to their Sparks communities, $10 per realtor visit, $100 per reservation, and $1000 per new home sale. Desert Wind Homes partner Allyson Rameker states, “As new parents, my husband and partner Victor and I are particularly passionate about the Boys & Girls Club efforts for children, and are excited for the opportunity to provide a little extra help for the organization in time for the holidays through our business…we could raise as much as $20,000!”
Participating communities are located in close proximity to each other in Sparks, at the following addresses: Desert Wind Homes’ Sonoma at 1288 Carema Court; Lennar Homes’ Asti and Verona at D’Andrea at 2983 Brachetto Loop; and Ryder Homes’ La Tierra at 2797 Earthstone Drive.
A check presentation ceremony at the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, located at 2680 East 9th Street in Reno, is scheduled for December 12 in which any contributors and home buyers will be invited.
