Reno is one of the safest cities in America

Reno, Nevada made AOL’s recent list of 20 most crime-free cities in America. See Safe Zones: 20 Most Crime-Free Cities in America

Coming in at #17 on the list, Reno has violent crime rates well-below the national averages. The AOL piece cites Reno’s:

• murder rate as 35% below average
• rape rate as 46% below average
• robbery rate as 25% below average

Another Nevada city, Henderson, made the list at #8.
