Here’s a fun event to put on your calendars for next Saturday: the Positively 4th Street Better Block Project
Local businesses along 4th street in downtown Reno, Nevada are taking the initiative to change the perception of East Fourth Street by taking old, but beautiful, spaces and fixing them up. Their goal is to change the public opinion so that Fourth Street is no longer perceived as “the bad area of town”. To this end these businesses will be hosting the second-annual Positively 4th Street Better Block Project event on June 14 on the 500 block of East Fourth Street.
From the event’s website:
The budding epicenter of modern culture will be unveiled through street restructuring, pop up restaurants and shops, activities and music. Come down from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. for a peek at what the future of East Fourth Street could be.
